Putney’s Wood + Design creates beautiful furniture made of salvaged wood from the city of Toronto. We work side by side with Heritage Tree Care Inc., a well-established Toronto-based tree care company that is aware of the value of these resources and committed to recycling and repurposing usable wood creatively and respectfully.

This unique association between local woodworkers and a local tree care company means we are active participants in the reclamation and re-functioning of valuable resources found in Toronto’s urban forestry: resources that are far too often thrown away as waste or used as firewood.

Putney’s Wooden Bits works hard to reincorporate into our lives ethically removed trees as functional and attractive furniture or beautiful pieces of art.
